The CancerEVOLVE Organizational Assessment provides a deeper, facilitated review of how intimacy-informed care currently functions across your organization. It identifies existing strengths, areas of inconsistency, and practical opportunities for improvement so your team can make informed decisions about what to strengthen next.
What does our assessment examine?
Using the CancerEVOLVE Framework, the assessment looks at six organizational domains:

How intimacy is recognized and supported in your organization as a legitimate part of cancer care.

When and how patients have opportunities to discuss intimacy-related concerns.

How prepared staff are to recognize concerns, respond appropriately, and understand their roles.

How patients are connected with additional support inside of and beyond your organization when a need is identified.
🌐 Resources
What information, tools, and resources are available for patients and staff, and how consistently they are used.
🧩 Integration
How well intimacy-informed care is incorporated into everyday practice and embedded into systems.
Together, these areas provide a practical picture of what is already working, where care may be inconsistent, and where focused attention could have the greatest value.
What is included?
The standard engagement includes:
- Structured organizational intake
- Review of relevant programs, resources, workflows, and materials
- Input from key staff and stakeholders
- Assessment across the CancerEVOLVE Framework
- Identification of strengths, gaps, and areas of inconsistency
- Prioritized recommendations for improvement
- Written findings and action priorities
- Facilitated findings and recommendations session with your team
The goal is not to produce an exhaustive report. It is to identify what matters most and give your organization practical direction for what to do next.
What will your organization receive?
Your organization receives a clear assessment report of its current state, including:
- A CancerEVOLVE Organizational Readiness Profile
- Findings across the six organizational domains
- Strengths to preserve and build upon
- Priority gaps and opportunities
- Recommended short-term and longer-term actions
- A practical roadmap for moving forward
- Recommendations may include staff education, referral pathways, patient resources, programming, role clarity, workflow changes, or other organizational improvements.
The assessment stands on its own. Your organization can use the findings internally or continue working with CancerEVOLVE to address selected priorities.
Who is it for?
The Organizational Assessment is designed for cancer centers, hospital departments, survivorship programs, supportive care teams, community cancer organizations, and nonprofits that want a deeper understanding of their current approach.
It can be especially useful when your organization knows this area of care deserves attention but is uncertain where to focus first.
The standard assessment covers one defined program, department, location, or organizational unit. Multi-department, multi-site, and health-system assessments are scoped separately.

Standard engagements typically range from $4,500 to $10,500, depending on organizational size, scope, number of stakeholders, and the amount of material being reviewed.
Larger multi-department, multi-site, and health-system assessments are available through a customized proposal.
